Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Divine Enterprises collects through coffeemeetup.inand how we use it, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Email address (to log you in)
• Name, gender, date of birth, mobile number, address, height, education, occupation, bio and interests (from your profile)
• Optionally, your religion and community, and the kind of person you would like to meet (age range and a short note), used only to choose matches
• Five recent photos of you and a live selfie taken with your camera, used to confirm you are a real person, to choose matches, and (the first photo only) to show your match
• A photo of one government ID that you choose: a masked Aadhaar (with only the last 4 digits visible), PAN card, driving licence, voter ID or passport. We ask for a masked Aadhaar so that we never hold your full Aadhaar number. We do not use your ID for Aadhaar authentication and do not share it with UIDAI.
• Payment references from our payment partners (SuperProfile / Cosmofeed, Razorpay). We never see or store your card or UPI details.

How we use it

• To choose matches and arrange meetups
• To contact you about your bookings
• To process payments and refunds
• To keep the community safe and act on reports
• To verify your identity: our team checks that your photos, live selfie and ID show the same person, and that the name and age match your profile
• To help the police or courts if something goes wrong at a meetup (see below)

What your match sees

Your first name, age, occupation, bio and interests, and your main profile photo once a coffee is booked between you, so you can recognise each other. Your live selfie is only ever seen by our team. Your address and ID are never shown to other members. We never share your email or phone number with other members. Photos and ID documents are stored privately and are never publicly accessible.

Who else sees it

Our service providers: Hostinger (website hosting), Supabase (database and photo storage), SuperProfile / Cosmofeed and Razorpay (payments) and our email provider, each only as needed to run the service. We don't sell your data.

Sharing with police and authorities

If a crime, harassment or other serious incident is reported in connection with a meetup, we may share the relevant member's profile details, address, ID document, photos and booking history with the police, a court or another authority that makes a lawful request, as permitted under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We do not share this information for any other purpose. You agree to this when you submit your ID.

How long we keep it

We keep your ID document, address and photos while your account is active and for 1 year after you close it, so that we can help with any complaint about a past meetup. After that we delete them, unless the law or an ongoing investigation requires us to keep them longer.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing contact@coffeemeetup.in. We keep payment records as long as the law requires.
